NIÑA YHARED (1814) BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH
Niña Yhared, being one of the youngest and most important representatives of the “performance” in Mexico, her job is recognized in Mexico and abroad, she specialized in the difusión and promotion of the “action-art” using her gallery “The Girl’s House”. Her presentations at: “Del Chopo” University Museum (UNAM), Ex Teresa Actual Arts Forum, Mexico City Museum, Spain Cultural Centre, PerforArt Spai Gallery, located at Barcelona, Spain, The Museum of Contemporary Art at Tucson, Arizona, USA, The “Black Box” Experimental Forum as part of the National Arts Center and the Museum of the Mexican IRS, in the Former Palace of the Archbishopric, and “The Studio” gallery. She earned her bachelor degree at the National School of Painting, Sculpture, Engraving and Visual Arts “The Emerald”, depending from the “I.N.B.A” obtaining Top Honors. She Published the books: “Sea Fairies” (2001) a collection of 35 tales and ink drawings; and her erotic poem collection “Seasons of Desire” (2005) and “A Nymphs’ Banquet”, to be Published at 2010. She already has an important collection of paintings, printings, drawings and digital photos, the same that has been introduced in several Mexican expositions, individuals and collectives, also.
Niña Yhared, es una de las artistas jóvenes más importantes del performance en México, su trabajo es reconocido a nivel nacional pues se ha especializado en la difusión y promoción el arte acción desde 1997.
Se ha presentado en el Museo Universitario del Chopo (UNAM), Ex Teresa Arte Actual, Museo de la Ciudad de México, Centro Cultural España, la galería PerforArt Spai, de Barcelona, España, el Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Tucson, Arizona, EU, el Foro Experimental Black Box del Centro Nacional de las Artes y El Museo de la Secretaría de Hacienda, Antiguo Palacio del Arzobispado. Desde septiembre de 2004, dirige La Casa de la Niña, galería especializada en performance, donde además exhibe su obra pictórica reciente de forma permanente. Estudió la licenciatura en Artes Visuales en la Escuela Nacional de Pintura, Escultura y Grabado, “La Esmeralda”, del INBA, México, en donde se tituló con mención honorífica. Ha publicado los libros Hadas de mar (2001), que reúne 35 cuentos y dibujos a tinta; y su poemario erótico Estaciones del deseo (2005). Tiene además una importante producción de pintura, estampa, dibujo y fotografías digitales, que ha presentado en exposiciones individuales y colectivas en México. |
